CHRISTMAS LIGHTS WALK

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2015

The Cape Breton Island Hoppers on our annual Christmas lights Walk Event.
23 members participated in this years event, a great tun out for "a winters night walk."
No snow for this event!! An almost warm night, at about 9 Celsius and best of all no rain...for now!
Thank you to Judy Lorway who invited the group to her home for a cup of Christmas Cheer and to those who brought along lots of sweets.

Hope to see you all in the New Year when the snow comes and we can get out the snowshoes and cross country skis.

LEITCHES CREEK TRAIL

Time to start walking!
Cal Thistle, Shirley Pettigrew and Don MacKenzie weave their way around a puddle!
A mixture of overcast weather, some rain, some sun and a blustery wind couldn't keep the Island Hoppers off the trail. Their prepared for any weather!!

Part of the trail along Hwy 125

A few wet spots along the trail but passable.

Elsie Buck, Barb Thistle and Joe MacKinnon, enjoy the walk.
